One out of every eight women will have breast cancer during her lifetime, but with early detection, the cure rate for breast cancer can be as high as 96%.
A screening mammogram is intended to look for cancer before a person has any symptoms –identifying cancer at an early stage. When abnormal tissue or cancer is found early, it may be easier to treat. By the time symptoms appear, cancer may have begun to spread.

Our mobile mammography bus is temporarily out of service. We know how much this service means to the Mid‑South community, and we’re working hard to have it back on the road as soon as possible. Although we don’t yet have a confirmed return date, we’ll share updates here as soon as they’re available.
