“Over the past few years, we have seen a significant increase in the number of people in our community that choose Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and particularly Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital for their health care needs. The additional space in our emergency department will support our excellent team of physicians, nurses, associates, and volunteers in providing the very best emergency care with the highest focus on the patient and family.“

To accommodate the growth in the number of surgeries performed at the hospital, a second floor will be built above the emergency department to better serve patients and families while also allowing room for future expansion.

The project will take 10 to 11 months to complete.
