“This new health blog focuses on ways people can take charge of their health, be informed about options and ask questions,” said Roc Johnson, director of web services for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. “Expert caregivers in our healthcare system offer remarks and insights on a variety of health topics.”

With an already present Methodist Facebook community, MLH wanted to provide another avenue for patients and their families to access health information. Topics currently featured on the blog include ovarian cancer, hospice, grief support and liver transplants. The blog can also be accessed directly by visiting www.methodisthealth.org/myhealth.
