Methodist Healthcare has a strong commitment to diversity among its workforce and its suppliers. Since 2002, we have increased our spending with minority and women owned businesses from $4.4 million to over $20 million.
Methodist has been recognized over the last few years for setting the standard for successful partnering by the Mid-South Minority Business Council (MMBC), the Black Business Association (BBA), the Small Business Administration, the Memphis Business Development Corporation and Premier, our national group purchasing organization.
