Methodist University and Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown have received a "seal of approval" that heart patients can trust for high-quality echocardiography services. 

Commissioner Steve Mulroy donated one of his kidneys at Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute. It was matched with a recipient through the National Kidney Registry, and enabled a chain of matches that resulted in six transplants.

For the first time in the Memphis area, Dr. Mark Miller  recently combined robotic-assisted surgery and a single incision to remove the gallbladder in a minimally invasive procedure.

Methodist will hold a job fair on May 4 for clinical and non-clinical support positions for the new Olive Branch hospital set to open in August.

Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital was recently designated a Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology for consistently delivering the safest, highest-quality care to patients of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
