Wound Healing
A non-healing wound affects every facet of a patient’s life. A wound without treatment could result in increased pain, infection, and overall reduction in the quality of life. If you have a wound that has not healed in 4 weeks or longer, our multidisciplinary team of physicians and clinicians can assist you in achieving a healed outcome.
You may be a candidate for evaluation and treatment if you have chronic wounds caused by:
- Diabetes
- Venous stasis
- Ischemic diseases
- Prolonged skin pressure
- Collagen vascular disease
- Infections such as Osteomyelitis
- Radiation therapy
Treatment at the Wound Healing Services typically lasts from 12 to 18 weeks. Referring physicians are informed of their patient’s progress throughout the treatment.
