Breastfeeding & Lactation Support

Published On 10/17/2011

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breast milk as the best source of nutrition for all babies in their first year of life. From education to lactation support products, we can help as you learn how to breastfeed.

Breastfeeding Classes

  • Breastfeeding Basics – Learn how to breastfeed before the baby arrives.
  • Return to Work Breastfeeding – Whether you return to work six weeks or several months after baby is born, you’ll need to plan how you’ll handle work and breastfeeding before your first day back.

Meet with a Lactation Consultant

  • After your baby is born—a lactation consultant can meet with you in the hospital to coach you through techniques and answer your questions.
  • After you go home—if you have questions or difficulties, you can meet for a private consultation at the hospital. Call us to schedule an appointment.
