Paula Jacobs

Paula was appointed the role of Vice President of Process Improvement and Innovation in February 2013. Paula is responsible for facilitating the development and deployment of best practices in operations planning, execution and improvement at the system level. Paula works closely with the Chief Quality and Chief Nursing Officers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, safe and unified care experiences for the patients and families of Methodist Healthcare.

Paula joined Methodist Healthcare in 2004 as project manager in Care Management and was named Methodist North Hospital's Director of Quality and Performance Improvement in 2005. In 2011, she was named Administrative Director of Quality and Patient Affairs at Methodist North and South Hospitals. Paula holds a B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Liberty University. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and served on the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Board of Examiners in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
