Boy and girls 11 to 15 years old will learn the skills to make babysitting safe and fun.

Commissioner Steve Mulroy donated one of his kidneys at Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute. It was matched with a recipient through the National Kidney Registry, and enabled a chain of matches that resulted in six transplants.

Five weeks after Shelby County Commissioner Steve Mulroy made an altruisitic kidney donation, the kidney swap started by him was completed. It involved 56 participants and 19 transplant centers--making it the second largest swap in history.
